Today I’ll buy something cute,
for Friday business in the City.
Although my errands should have been done yesterday,
the lazy cut fits.
I’ll be buying some armor
of some superstitious self-esteem.
Wool-something to protect against the setting freeze,
some new shoes to carry me through the door.
